Last week I was hiking down Iron Moutain in Poway, California. And the sun was setting. What the camera saw was beautiful and what my eyes saw even more indescribable. Our reality is ours. The others reality theirs. Yet, if I include love and respect for others in my reality than my reality can co-exist in peace with the other, even when the other does not accept my reality. Do your part, trust your eyes.

May peace be with you! Today, I went stand up paddling board with my dogs at Mission Bay in San Diego. I saw this flowers coming out from a brittle wall, constantly made more brittle by the salty ocean water. It's January 17th and yes we are blessed with great weather over here, never the less this yellow beauties defied all laws of creation and against all odds bloomed. They don't care it's winter, they don't care there is no fresh water in sight, they don't care there were no other flowers around, they simply bloomed. May we too in these most unlikely of times be like these flowers and may we against all odds bloom peace and hope. Together we can. Shanti Ananda
