There are some AMAZING things happening in Dodge City and we were lucky enough to add visiting their high school and Beeson Elementary to our tour of Kansas! We also got to present to Newman University Western Kansas, and they were SO excited for a KTOY Visit! Make the journey to western Kansas, it’s worth every mile!

We had THE BEST day at Fort Hays State University! They held their first annual Future Educators Day where 120+ high school students interested in education gathered with the KTOY team and Fort Hays students/staff to help get them pumped and inspired to be teachers! We held sessions for the high school students, one for FHSU students/staff, Tabatha gave the keynote address at lunch, and we talked teacher retention in the afternoon with a state board member, administrators, and teachers from the participating districts. FHSU even gave away a scholarship at the end of the day!

Thank you, Fort Hays, for having as a part of this monumental event - it was an incredible success!
