Friday, August 28th, we’re celebrating Dolly Parton and all the wonderful qualities she represents! 🌟

Students and staff are encouraged to show their Dolly spirit by wearing pink, sparkles, big hair, bows, or anything that makes you feel a little more Dolly! 💕✨

We’ll also be celebrating the importance of being kind, generous, helpful, loving, and giving to others—just like Dolly! ❤️

Let’s fill Emmalena with a little extra Dolly magic on Friday! 🎀📚💗

📚✨ A Little More Dolly at Emmalena! ✨📚

Today at Emmalena Elementary, we handed out special coins for our Book Vending Machine in honor of the one and only Dolly Parton! 💕📖

Dolly has always been known for her kindness, generosity, compassion, and love for children. Through her Imagination Library, she has helped put millions of free books into the hands of children, inspiring them to love reading and dream big.

In the spirit of Dolly, we gave coins to students who have been kind, helpful, generous, caring, encouraging, and thoughtful toward others—students who are showing us what it means to be a little more like Dolly every day! 💗

We hope these students enjoy choosing a book of their very own and remember that kindness is something worth celebrating.

Thank you, Dolly, for showing the world that a little kindness, a love of books, and a big heart can make a BIG difference! 📚💗

Emmalena students and staff, let's all wear pink tomorrow to show support for Nova Johnson. Nova is a kindergarten student at Beaver Elementary and has recently been diagnosed with leukemia. The Eagle Nation is standing with you, Nova!

📢 7th Grade State Fair Trip Reminder! 🎡

Parents and guardians of 7th grade students attending the State Fair on Tuesday: permission slips must be turned in by tomorrow!

The bus will leave Tuesday morning between 7:30–8:00 AM and is expected to return around 8:00 PM.

Students do not have to bring money, but they may bring money if they would like to purchase snacks or souvenirs.

Please make sure those permission slips are turned in by tomorrow!
