From our recent news letter (Summer 2015):

Cristina and I hope everyone is having a great summer? Cristina is currently visiting Homer, Alaska with friends while I am concluding my work/study computer technology mentor-ship here in Cambridge with my good friend and host, Dr. Mike Rose. My goal is to improve the online learning approach that is most currently applied to social tango dance (by implementing micro videos with self and partner evaluation criteria and database tracking). Perhaps in 2016 you'll see the fruits of this effort via The Organic Tango School online?

In the meantime, Cristina and I are happy to announce that we've finally released our 2015 didactic video production series entitled: The OTS "Trio Garufa" Series ( #41 to 45). This series is in honour of, and featuring the music from, one of our local & favourite SF Bay Area tango bands, Trio Garufa. The Trio has released several albums with highly danceable music (including traditional arrangements and alternative selections) and have also travelled extensively to play for tango dancers world wide.

Still in the Europe for another 3 weeks. Berlin with Thomas Rieser and Tango Nou for their 10 year anniversary and then off to the UK for the last two weeks (via Warren and Dance Inspired/Tango Bootcamp).

Did you know that besides Tango, Cristina and Homer have a variety of other hobbies that they like to pursue? For example, they both like to take Acrobatic/Aerial classes (maybe you've already seen the Facebook pics)...and slightly begrudgingly Cristina will join Homer in an old-fashioned table top pen and paper role-playing game.

Here's what we're up to for the next few months tango related, of course:

October
We teach at The Beat the next two Mondays (10/7 and 10/14) then off to The Philippines for a long over due vacation!!!

November
We start the month off by dancing like crazy at the local San Francisco Tango Marathon (8th to 10th). Then we visit Salt lake City for their special weekend event co-taught with Nick and Diana (15th to 17th). Lastly, we teach again at The Beat on the 18th and host visiting teacher/friend Korey Ireland on the 25th.

December
New Orleans (6th to 8th), New York (19th to 22nd), and San Diego (New Year's weekend) all round-up our 2013 travel schedule! We'll be at The Beat on Monday the 16th.

January
At home teaching at St. Mary's College for the entire month. At The Beat on the 20th and 27th.

February Warning!
We have scheduled a date to make more Didactic Videos...so stay tuned.

This is the final project for the college students who are enrolled in our January Term winter credit course (including dance lab and lecture). Please plan to attend and show your support for both the college students and also to raise funds for an Argentine cause (to be determined by the students).
