We started using this weekly white board system a few years ago. It really helps the production crew take ownership of their jobs for the week. Instead of working one job at a time, they can now see the vision inside Kurt’s head and they work faster, knowing there is more to fit into the container! If they finish early, they know what to work on next.

New collaborations can be life giving to your business! We met up with Brian and Stacie Anderson in Bowling Green last month to review last year’s chicken share beta test. It went so well that we are now trying pork shares too. Ahhhhh…. The power of the beta test!! We proved the concept and now we are ready to scale up. Sometimes all it takes is to look at something a different way. Collaborations can add so much energy (and easy revenue) if it’s a good fit.

Don’t be a silo. Partner with other great businesses. There is more than enough to go around.

My friend (and former Accelerator member) Jamie Pritchard stopped by today for a farm tour with sister Mandy and father Jimbo. It was awesome to reconnect and share a continuing ed “jam session.” How far we’ve all come. Keep growing! Enjoy your process of becoming. ❤️

A throwback to a few weeks ago when Kurt and I flew to Colorado to hike around the Pikes Peak area and enjoy some R & R. I love his tshirt — it describes how I feel these days.

Every morning I start out my devotion time with journaling gratitude sentences. Enough to fill a page. I’m telling you… this one practice is responsible for significantly shifting my mindset from one of scarcity to abundance. It took many many months of reps, but I believe this created a vital shift in me.

You must practice seeing the good before you start to see it in EVERY circumstance.

I believe in you!

Praise God. I am healed! I am pretty much at the finish line of a yearlong battle with gut health.

So stinking proud of myself.

I feel called to help others with GI symptoms as they navigate their own health journey. I am going to be sharing the whole story in small sound bites via email, starting in May, with my local farm customer audience. But I also want to offer it to any of the farmers who follow me…
