Every single item in these bags is fully funded by our Title 1 / ESEA Grant to enhance academic support for all students. We are thrilled to put these high-quality resources directly into your homes!📖 Each bag contains a hand-picked summer reading book tailored specifically to your child’s grade level, interactive math learning tools (like cards, manipulatives, or study guides), and our fun Summer Reading Bingo Challenge!

☀️ 6th grade had a fantastic trip to Echo Lake today! It was the perfect day for swimming, relaxing, and enjoying time together outdoors.

Our students represented our school — and our state — incredibly well. They were appreciative, respectful, and well-behaved throughout the entire trip, and we are so proud of them.

We wrapped up the day with a stop at Blueberry Hill for ice cream! 🍦

A special thank you to our lifeguard and social studies teacher, Mrs. Hall, and to our reading teacher and ice cream organizer, Mrs. Anderson, for helping make this memorable day possible!

Our first graders kept a favorite end-of-year tradition alive by walking to Knowlton Park!

After enjoying a sunny picnic lunch, they headed back to school to cool off and play in the sprinklers. What a perfect way to celebrate wrapping up another fantastic school year! 🎒🎉

EEMS 6th and 7th graders held their first-ever Science Fair, and the turnout was amazing! 🔬✨

Thank you to all of our students, parents, and teachers who helped make this such a successful evening. We were impressed by the creativity, hard work, and scientific thinking displayed in every project. It was wonderful to see our school community come together to celebrate student learning and achievement.

We are already looking forward to next year's Science Fair! 🎉🔬📚

🛠️ Big Shoutout & Thank You! 🪵

We want to extend a massive thank you to our amazing after-school site coordinator, Holly Williams, and her husband, Warren! 🌟

They recently teamed up with some of our fantastic after-school students to build a much-needed shed extension. This awesome new space will house our mower, w**d whacker, and the new tools we purchased for our outdoor classrooms last year, thanks to our generous Friends of Acadia grant! 🌲✨

We are also super proud of these students for rolling up their sleeves, learning hands-on skills, and working together to improve our program space.

Last week, EEMS hosted our final Tasting Table of the year, celebrating June’s Maine Harvest of the Month: Seaw**d! 🎉

We were thrilled to welcome our neighbors from Maine Coast Sea Vegetables, who set up an awesome station during lunch. Our students got to learn all about all of our local seaw**d, check out massive pieces of real sugar kelp, and—the best part—sample some delicious "Kelp Krunch" seaw**d bites! 😋👏
