Our vision is to hold an annual celebration and fun run to honor Elisa..

to remember and embrace her spirit, her athleticism, her artistry, and her love of friends and family… and to raise money for local art students and give them a boost forward.

Dear Friends,
As always, we are deeply grateful for you—our incredible community of friends and family—who continue to help us keep Elisa Hughey’s artistic spirit alive through the Elisa B. Hughey Scholarship for the Arts.

This year marks 10 years since we lost our beloved Elisa to colon cancer. It still feels like just yesterday that this sweet, vibrant, strong, and deeply talented woman was part of our daily lives.

Elisa was never one for the limelight, but we believe she would be proud of the good that has been accomplished in her memory. Since 2017, we have awarded $14,775 in art scholarships to 17 students in Cattaraugus County, New York. In addition, we have provided $7,000 in grants supporting school and community art projects, art classes, and local artists.

These efforts are only possible because of your continued generosity and support—and for that, we are truly thankful.

This year, we will once again come together to celebrate Elisa’s life and legacy through our annual Elisa’s Run for the Arts. As this is a milestone year, we invite you to participate—either virtually or in person at our family’s lake.
