A class on “Planning Thrifty and Healthy Holiday Meals” will take place Wednesday, September 23, 1:30 p.m., at the Todd County Extension Office, 240 Pond River Road, Elkton. Participants will learn how to celebrate more and spend less while planning festive and healthy meals on a budget. Each attendee will receive a gift bag with kitchen utensils to help with preparation of meals. Please register by calling 270-265-5659 by September 18. The class is free and open to anyone who would like to attend. The University Of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service is an equal opportunity organization.

Pumpkin Scones Baking Class! What better way to celebrate fall than learning how to make and bake pumpkin scones (and save money by baking your own)? The class will be held Tuesday, October 13, 5:30 p.m., at the Todd County Extension Office. There is a registration fee of $5.00, due by October 7. Limit 16 people. Cast Iron Skillets Class! Join us Tuesday, September 22, 5:00 p.m., for a hands-on, interactive session about cast-iron skillets. You'll learn how to clean, season, and cook with them. Whether you're new to cast iron or looking to bring an old pan back to life, this class is for you. It will give you the skills and confidence to make cast iron a lasting part of your kitchen. You'll also explore its health benefits, history, and how to care for it so it lasts for generations. at the Todd County Extension Office, 240 Pond River Road, Elkton. Participants Needed for Move to Connect

Move to Connect is an eight-session educational program that helps adults strengthen social connections, build healthy relationships, and improve well-being through creative movement activities, reflection, and group discussion. Participants strengthen practical skills such as communication, empathy, resilience, and relationship building while fostering a greater sense of belonging.

The program will be on Fridays at 10:00 a.m. on the following dates:
September 25; October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; November 13 and 20.
