Bryce Jewell puts the finishing touches on his team's first build as the Elko Innovators prepared to scrimmage at Bear River High School in Garland, Utah.

This scrimmage gave our students the opportunity to scrimmage months ahead of previous seasons, giving them a valuable head start on the season compared to our first two years. There's no substitute for seeing game pieces move and testing ideas under pressure before the official competitions begin.

Elko Innovators would like to thank the Elko Convention & Visitors Authority for giving us the opportunity to demonstrate our robots at the Mine Expo. Our newest teammates gained hands-on experience building drive trains, while visitors of all ages had the chance to try their hand at the controls and learn more about this season’s game.

It was a fantastic opportunity to introduce young people to robotics, reconnect with our supporters, and showcase the team.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the theater, asked questions, purchased raffle tickets, or simply showed their support. We couldn’t do it without this community behind us.
