Learning Through Play! 💛📚

I absolutely LOVE watching Miss Yankee work with our 2½–3-year-olds! 🥰 She comes up with some of the most creative ways to help our little ones learn their letters and sounds—and she makes learning FUN!

Now, let me tell you…this picture is NOT just a game of musical chairs! 😂 There was a seat for every child, and when the music stopped, each student picked up a letter and had to name the letter they were holding. If they needed a little help, Miss Yankee guided them. Then she took it a step further by talking about the letter sound and giving them words and names that started with that letter.

For example, if a child picked up the letter **J**, she would practice the /J/ sound and connect it to words like **Jonathan, jam, and jump!** 👏🏽

🌊☀️ **Water Day at Edith Paisley Water Park!** 💦

What a wonderful day of fun, laughter, and making memories! It was so good to see our children having such a fantastic time at Edith Paisley Water Park. Sometimes, stepping away from the curriculum and simply enjoying one another is exactly what we need. ❤️

Days like this give our children the opportunity to relax, build friendships, laugh together, and create memories that they’ll carry with them. We loved seeing all the smiles and hearing the laughter throughout the day!

📚✨ LET THEM EXPLORE! ✨📚

There is something so special about watching young children discover the world through books! ❤️

Allowing children to explore books freely—turning the pages, looking at pictures, pointing to familiar objects, making up stories, and even “reading” in their own way—is an important part of early learning.

Books help our little ones build:
📖 Language and vocabulary
🧠 Imagination and creativity
👀 Visual and listening skills
💬 Communication skills
❤️ A love for learning

And remember, they don’t have to sit perfectly still or read every word to benefit. Exploration is learning! When children are given the opportunity to choose a book, hold it, flip through the pages, and talk about what they see, we are helping build the foundation for lifelong literacy.

There’s nothing better than when the **Elkhart Public Library** comes to visit our little ones! 🥰📖🎶

We absolutely LOVE watching the children listen to stories, sing songs, dance, and participate in all the fun activities. She does such a wonderful job of keeping our little learners **active, engaged, and excited about learning!** 👏🏽✨

These visits are more than just story time—they help build a love for **books, music, learning, movement, and imagination.** ❤️

🐷🐴 **Down on the Farm at Small Miracles!** 🌾🎨

This week, our little farmers have been learning all about **pigs and horses** as we continue our fun **Farm Theme!** 🐷🐴

Our students had SO much fun getting creative with **coloring and painting** while learning about these amazing farm animals. 🎨🖍️ From pink little pigs to beautiful horses, their imaginations were running wild!

We love making learning **fun, hands-on, and engaging** at Small Miracles! 💙💛 Our little ones are learning, creating, and having a whole lot of fun along the way!

Today is a BIG day for our Small Miracles Pre-K graduates! 🥹❤️ Our babies are officially starting KINDERGARTEN! 🎒✏️

It feels like just yesterday they were walking through our doors with those little smiles, learning their ABCs, counting numbers, making friends, discovering who they are, and growing right before our eyes.

Today, we stand a little taller and smile a little bigger because WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!🥰

We have watched you learn.
We have watched you grow.
