We are proud to introduce our new El Reno Indians Head Baseball Coach… Chase Johnson!!

Coach Johnson:

Hello El Reno, I’d like to introduce myself and my family. I am Chase Johnson, and I’m excited to begin my El Reno Coaching Career!!
My wife is Jade Johnson. We have been married for 2 years and have a 1 year old daughter, Elsie. We also have a 7 year old daughter, A.J. and a 4 year old son, Bodie. They are my why and the best part of my life.

I am a graduate of Amber-Pocasset High School. While at Am-Po, we made the state baseball tournament 3 times (Fall 2011 - Semifinals), Spring 2010 (Quarterfinals), Spring 2012 (State Runner-Up). This will be my 12th year in education. I have been an assistant in baseball, football, basketball, and softball. The last 4 years I have only assisted in baseball. I have coached at Chickasha (10 years) - (1 State Quarterfinal App. and 1 State Semifinal App. in Baseball. 1 State Quarterfinal App. in Basketball). I also coached at Newcastle - (1 year) - (1 State Semifinal App. Baseball). This will be my first year at El Reno and it will be my first head coaching job. I am excited and grateful for this opportunity and to be a part of this community.

We couldn’t be prouder of our students’ achievements this last year! In addition, our ACT average went up by and entire point and our science scores increased by 17%! LET’S GO RENO! Keep the momentum going!!!

Congratulations to Mr. Patrick King! El Reno High School was awarded funds for our Aviation program by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation! Bravo!

Oklahoma is #1 in the nation for schools offering aviation education. That means every student has the opportunity to explore aviation and discover pathways to a brighter future. El Reno is now, proudly, a part of that initiative!
