Anthony Burgess' birthday. English writer and composer. Born: February 25, 1917
Ready for a bit of the old ultra-reading? 🥛📖✨
Today we celebrate the birthday of the one and only Anthony Burgess (1917–1993)! Burgess is primarily famous for writing the dystopian novel A Clockwork Orange (1962).
Whether you're a young "malchick" ("young man") looking for a grand story or a "devotchka" ("young girl") seeking some sophisticated "slovos," ("words") we’ve got just the thing to sharpen your "rassudock" ("mind").
Burgess wasn't just a master of the "Nadsat" talk (Nadsat is a fictional, Russian-influenced slang invented by Anthony Burgess for his 1962 novel, A Clockwork Orange); he was a "horrorshow" composer and a true polyglot. You don't need to be "bezoomny" to find his work—just use the Tejano Library Search to track down his most "viddyable" novels and scores.
No "fright" intended, just pure literary bliss. Grab a glass of "moloko," (milk) settle into your favorite chair, and start your search today! 🎻📚
Your passport to new worlds: Tejano Library Search.
