This week's Wednesday Workshop @ the MDP library was full of great information for people interested in scholarships. We learned which scholarships are available, when the deadlines are, and lots of tips for writing the best application essay.

The Live Oral History Recording Workshop that took place at the MDP Library yesterday was a huge success! Dr. Morales interviewed Pat Duran about her exciting adventures growing up in El Paso and as a local human rights activist. We also learned tips for conducting our own interviews with people who have amazing stories.

Today we celebrate the birthday of the one and only Anthony Burgess (1917–1993)! Burgess is primarily famous for writing the dystopian novel A Clockwork Orange (1962).
