Compassionate Communication to Grow Together 💛

We shared a Compassionate Communication workshop with the mothers and caregiver inmates of the Montessori Infant Community in the Mazatlán penitentiary.

✨ Inspired by Marshall Rosenberg’s model, we practiced new ways of expressing ourselves with honesty and empathy, and of listening with compassion.

🌱 This space reminded us of the importance of emotional education in childhood: giving children tools to name their feelings, and mothers and caregivers strategies to support them with love and clear limits.

This work was made possible through the collaboration of Origami Vida Interna, Montessori Mexico and The Emotional Playground, joining efforts to nurture connection and transformation. ✨

. Comunicación Compasiva para Crecer Juntos 💛

Compartimos un taller de Comunicación Compasiva con las mamás y cuidadoras internas de la Comunidad Infantil Montessori en el penal de Mazatlán.

✨ Inspiradas en el modelo de Marshall Rosenberg, practicamos nuevas formas de expresarnos con honestidad y empatía, y de escuchar con compasión.

🌱 Este espacio nos recordó la importancia de la educación emocional en la infancia: ofrecer a los niños herramientas para nombrar lo que sienten y a las mamás y cuidadoras estrategias para acompañarlos con amor y límites claros.

Este trabajo fue posible gracias a la colaboración de Origami Vida Interna, Montessori Mexico y The Emotional Playground, uniendo esfuerzos para nutrir la conexión y la transformación. ✨
