Learning to associate different tempos and movement styles with three different dinosuars, strengthening musical understanding, memory, and cognitive flexibility! Thank you for letting us hold an age 3 class during Desert Bloomers two weeks ago.

Here's a little sneak peek at some of our age 1 activities from our class at La Nube Desert Bloomers last week!

First video - a welcome song in the Cree language where we practice keeping the beat.

Second video - a fingerplay that (1) introduces the musical fermata, and (2) challenges a child's attention by building anticipation for a tickle that occurs after a pause of varying length.

These activities encourage coordination, listening, and social interaction, all while fostering a love of music and building early language and motor skills.

The voice is the basis of all music and your voice in particular is the most important musical instrument that your baby will hear. Singing in the baby’s natural range builds a baby's accuracy and confidence.
