The FBI Academy just got VERY intense.

Today at ITAV, we had a helicopter crash, a mystery to solve, clues to uncover, and culprits to find.

Our FBI agents had to think fast, work together, solve puzzles, follow the evidence, and use the skills they’ve been learning in class.

A special shoutout to the Montana Vista Fire Rescue for coming out to teach our agents first aid and give them some real world training!

The mission is definitely underway!

This week in History, the kids learned about cuneiform, the oldest known writing system, developed by the ancient Sumerians around 3200 BCE.

Then they got to make their own clay tablets and write messages just like the ancient Sumerians did thousands of years ago!

History is so much more fun when you can experience it.

There’s something pretty amazing about watching kids experience a dissection for the first time. They leave fascinated, asking questions, and with a whole new understanding of anatomy.

And every time, I hear at least a few of them say, “I want to be a veterinarian!”

This is why hands on learning matters. Sometimes, one experience can spark an entirely new dream.

What an exciting surprise today! Our very first chick hatched earlier than expected! 🐥

Our Early Elementary kids have been learning all about chickens, including their life cycle and the incubation process. We’ve all been watching these eggs develop, so getting to see our first chick arrive is such a fun part of the experience!

Now we need your help with something very important: What should we name her?

We’re hoping the other chicks hatch on Monday as planned so the kids can experience the process firsthand. If they decide to hatch early too, I’ll do my best to capture some videos so the kids can still see what happened.

There’s nothing quite like learning science by watching it happen right in front of you.

Who knew science could be so cute? 🥺💛

The moms didn't want to be left behind! So we're starting a Mom's Worship Dance Class too!

Tuesday was our very first day, and we learned a couple of basic jazz moves. We laughed A LOT because, let's be honest, none of us are professionals. 🙃 This is simply about having fun, trying something new, and maybe stepping a little outside of our comfort zones.

I, for one, walked around like a jazz dancer for the rest of the day. And honestly, I think we were all feeling a little proud of ourselves. 🤗

And THAT is exactly what this is about. Trying something new, laughing a lot, and having fun together.

The moms are officially joining the fun. 💖
