Dear MVHS Alumni,

On behalf of Marnie Huggins (MVHS Class of 1989), we share that a GoFundMe has been established to help with her husband, Christopher Huggins (MVHS Class of 1988) funeral expenses.

Unfortunately, Chris lost his life insurance policy when the company he worked for let him go due to cutbacks because of Covid.

Many of us knew Chris and Marnie from high school and though we haven’t seen them in person, we witnessed their love for each other as well as Chris’s cancer fight over social media.

Our fellow MVHS alumni now humbly need our help. On behalf of Marnie & the family, please consider donating any amount.

Attention All MVHS Alumni! Join us as we get together for an All Class Reunion at Caddies in Alhambra. We are inviting all years to attend so we can have the best event ever. This is our chance to reconnect and celebrate friendship with all Vikings. Everyone is welcome!

This year's entertainment will feature Bumptown Band, a top-tier performance band from So Cal. They have been delivering a fun, engaging and powerful live music experience since 1995. LA's hottest DJ's will also be delivering all the hits you love. So, put on your dancing shoes and get ready to dance the night away.

Caddies' scenic golf course and lakeside location is the perfect backdrop for our special occasion. Our party room will be beautifully decorated taking you back to your high school days and will feature a photo booth with all the props to capture your special moments.

We will also be offering $2.50 tacos or 3 tacos for $7. All seating is General Admission, first come, first served. Name badges with graduating year will be at check-in. All tickets are non-refundable. Get your tickets now and arrive early because we have a fun filled night waiting just for you!

Good Morning Class of 1990! I previously shared the MVHS Mexico All Classes Reunion cruise at some point last year in case anyone wanted to participate (I see it on this page below). I believe at that time, or previously, someone expressed interest about a cruise for our 30 year - as well as Las Vegas, etc. I believe ideas were thrown out however there has never been an invite/message, etc. about a cruise for our 30th. ;) As life happens and things change, I am unable to take charge of a Class of 1990 Reunion. If you, or anyone else from Class of 1990, would like to take charge of planning a 30 Year Reunion, that would be awesome! The committee for our 20 year involved: Sergio Brown, Moises Cruz, Carmen Figueroa, Rosa Pena and myself. The other 20 year committee members mentioned may still be interested in helping however I won't speak for anyone as I know everyone is busy (I've tagged them all below)!

BTW, there is a 2020 MVHS All Class Reunion that others have planned that will take place on October 24th at Caddies in Alhambra (yes, it's still open)! This sounds good to me especially since I'm well aware of the time commitment involved. Information for that event is posted on the MVHS alumni page. If anyone has any questions, please message me!
