Gamma Phi Omega - Southern Illinois University Edwardsville A Latina oriented but non-exclusive social sorority that promotes academic excellence, community service, cultural awareness, and sisterhood.

Open to all SIUE female students. The purpose of the Sorority shall be to promote the four goals:
Academic Excellence - to motivate and stimulate academic achievement. Community Service - to provide service to the surrounding communities. Cultural Awareness - to unite women in the pursuit of appreciating the diverse Latino and other cultures. Sisterhood - to provide support and respect among each member in order to maintain an everlasting relationship.
