This week some of the Criminal Justice Club members went to the Texas Department Public Safety Crime lab in Weslaco. The students heard from Texas State Toopers regarding their careers and their duties. The students also received a tour around the crime lab where they learned about the lab submission process, DNA testing, fingerprint analysis, blood analysis, drug analysis and firearm analysis. This opportunity helps inspire our students in their career pathway. Thank you to Weslaco Crime Lab for opening your doors to our students.
