Life blooms when you stay true to yourself and focus on your own journey. Peace comes from living authentically, not from seeking others' approval. Your happiness matters more than others' opinions - trust your own path. When you embrace your authentic self, life's colors shine brighter. Be uniquely you. The world tries to shape us into what it thinks we should be, but the real magic happens when we dare to be different.

The most beautiful life is lived when you follow your own heart's compass. Stay true, stay you. Every time you choose authenticity over conformity, you give others permission to do the same. Your uniqueness is your superpower, and your differences are what make you irreplaceable. Don't dim your light to make others comfortable - instead, shine so brightly that you inspire others to embrace their own inner light. Remember, you weren't born to fit in; you were born to stand out and make your own mark on the world.

I have shared more than once recently that the "let me just be better than I was yesterday" ideal is not ideal at all; absolutely not sustainable.
It is just another road that circles back to the endless and exhausting "hustle and grind" culture.

I would say "first and consistently."
When I learned that, then I could lean on my support system in a healthy way.
For me there is definitely power in venting with a proven wise and trusted friend.

On the stroke of midnight tonight, you can resolve to be better, if you like…
to be fitter,
to eat cleaner,
to work harder.

On the stroke of midnight tonight,
you can resolve to become a whole new you,
if you so choose.

Or, you can take a moment to acknowledge
all you already are.
Because it’s a lot.
You’re a lot.

And you deserve to be commended.

On the stroke of midnight tonight, perhaps you could congratulate yourself, for coping.
For breaking, again,
and for rebuilding, again.

For catching the stones life has thrown at you,
and using them to build your castle that little bit stronger.

You have endured, my friend.

And I don’t see the need to resolve to become a whole new you,
when you are already so very much indeed.

Happy new year.

You made it.

Now let us face another 365 day-turn, arms wide,
accepting, embracing and ‘seeing’ each other,

Wrapping up the month and welcoming a new year with a repurposed post from our first in 2022🌟

To keep mindful of the Merry & Light available to be injected into the Merry & Bright of every day.💖

I have found it so useful to begin with setting intention by hitting the mental pause button.

As I allow the breath to come, and purposely harness it, I am removed from a hyper aware state, where all of life's stuff seems Just So Big and UNending.

✨It reminds me: this is not forever.
✨It is simply the moment in front of me.
✨I can handle a moment.
✨Then I can think about the one after that, and so on.

As I breathe and begin to find that heart/mind/body alignment, I am reminded those other moments will come, each in their time.💨

I do not need to hold all the coming moments, but just this present one.🤲

In that space I am more able to see: this present moment is beautiful.💝
And to answer the intention and motivation questions, and from there clue into the steps needed now.

My favorite first step *though often not easy* is always a release or letting go.🍂

❇️What emotions do I need to be aware of?
❇️Or, What mindset or habit is not serving me as of late, but I have not yet intentionally removed it from my daily repertoire?

📍It may not be a negative, but simply something that is not moving me in along my new desired path.

Embracing it as a sort of adventure into knowing the true and deeper me has been absolutely key.🔐

There is much treasure to be found as we journey into the stillness of our souls. Happy Hunting! 💎 ⚒️😊
