In case you missed it!

Can you think of a time when you spoke up? What are some ways to speak up without your voice? This week at Outdoor Family Sunday School we'll remember Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem on a donkey, read the picture book “Speak Up” by Miranda Paul, and make our voices heard with rhythm sticks & shaker eggs, and real palm branches! 🌿 Gather around the campfire with church friends, coffee, cocoa, and treats, and the theme "Full to the Brim" between worship services from 10:30-11am. Children attend with their grownups!

WHAT IS MESSY CHURCH? MESSY CHURCH is a way of being church together, with all ages engaging creatively in worship and deepening faith through free and guided play.

WHEN IS MESSY CHURCH? Experience a warm welcome to MESSY CHURCH, online at 10:30 am on 1/23 and 2/13. Contact Kelly Rowley for the Zoom link. Or, if you’re worshiping in person, pick up supplies as you enter the sanctuary every Sunday.

HOW DOES MESSY CHURCH WORK? MESSY CHURCH encourages a sense of identity and belonging - preparing space in worship that meets the developing child's need for freedom, purposeful activity, and beloved community.

Similar to Zoom Zoom boxes, MESSY CHURCH is curated for families with kids. MESSY CHURCH backpacks are more intentional than worship bags, with prompts designed to engage the whole family. MESSY CHURCH helps families engage creatively in the lectionary reading – only the conversation is shorter, simpler, and sillier!
