New End of Day Pickup Procedure

To help reduce congestion and make dismissal safer and smoother, we will have a new pickup procedure this year.

All students being picked up by families will wait on the playground at dismissal. Students will exit through one of two gates:

🏀 Front gate near the basketball courts
🏫 Northwest gate in the corner of the playground

Kindergarten families: When kindergarten begins on Monday, kindergarten students will be picked up on the east side of the building. Please make a plan with your child ahead of time so they know where to meet you.

For all other students, please talk with your child ahead of time about which gate to use and where to look for you. A little planning ahead will help dismissal move quickly and smoothly for everyone.

Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we get this new system up and running!

📚 Back to School Night is almost here!

We can’t wait to welcome our 1st–5th grade families on Tuesday, August 18, from 5:30–7:00 PM!

🏫 Classroom placements will be live on Infinite Campus Monday, August 17. We want families to become familiar with the platform, so please log in before Back to School Night. If you need help, we’ll have support available in the gym that evening.

🎒 Kindergarten families: Your scheduled Meet the Teacher appointment will be Thursday, August 20 or Friday, August 21. Letters were sent Wednesday, so you should be receiving yours shortly if you haven’t already.

We CAN’T WAIT to see all of our students again! 💚🦁

Looking for a fun way for your 4th or 5th grader to stay active, build confidence, and make new friends this school year? Jamestown Public Schools and TRAC have a great lineup of activities for your student!
