Aesthetics vs. Analytics: Which wins?

Every golfer has an eye for what looks right at address. So when LPGA Top Instructor Megan Buzza first tested the PING G440 K, she had some reservations about the visual profile.

Then she swung it. πŸ’₯

The ball speed, the tight dispersion, and the effortless launch metrics completely changed the conversation. It might just be the most forgiving, high-performing driver of the year!

πŸ‘‡ DEBATE TIME: Would you sacrifice your preferred aesthetic for a guaranteed tighter dispersion? Or is confidence at address non-negotiable for your game?

Tag your regular foursome and let’s settle this.

This one hit different when it came through the door.

A 2016 TaylorMade M1. Still in the wrapper. The same model Dustin Johnson used to win his first Major at the 2016 U.S. Open at Oakmont!

The specs on this one aren't exactly DJ's (he was on a 10.5Β° played at 11Β° with a Fujikura Speeder Evolution 2.0 Tour Spec 661X), but a 9.5Β° head on the Kuro Kage Silver TiNi 60X is nothing to sleep on.

Just traded in at our Minnetonka store.

We want to know β€” if you stumbled across an older driver in this exact condition, which one would you still put in your bag today? Let's hear it in the comments.

What a breakthrough for Bud Cauley!πŸ‘

Cauley nearly gave up golf due to injuries and lingering issues from a 2018 car accident. Now he's a PGA Tour Champion for the first time with his win at the RBC Canadian Open!

His win also got him into this week's U.S. Open at Shinnecock.

Take a look at his winning Titleist setup. Which club stands out most to you?

If you had this driver in your bag back in the day, your golf game was awesome. But how does it hold up today?

We found an absolute treasure in the 2nd Swing clearance bin: the OG TaylorMade Burner Bubble! Naturally, Drew Mahowald and Kevin Kraft had to take it into the simulator for an epic head-to-head Smash Off.

The rules were simple: Three swings each, and the highest smash factor takes the crown.

Titleist GTS3 vs. Titleist GTS4

While both the Titleist GTS3 and GTS4 feature a front-loaded weight track for precise CG manipulation, the real differentiator comes down to profile and spin dynamics.

πŸ”Ή GTS3: Classic pear-shaped profile. Refined traditional aesthetics built for the purist who demands ultimate workability and a familiar look at address.
πŸ”Ή GTS4: Broadened to a 460cc footprint, offering a larger platform while remaining a dedicated low-spin weapon engineered to pierce through the wind.

Are you looking for traditional workability or a broader profile with maximum spin reduction?

πŸ‘‡ Comment below: Which profile fits your eye at address?

Is it time to officially retire the long irons? πŸŒοΈβ€β™‚οΈ

There used to be a time when telling golfers they needed a 7-wood was a brutal conversation. Ego simply wouldn't allow it.

But as Master Fitter Blaine Seitz explains, the proof is in the launch conditions. Take a player outside, drop a ball down and hand them a high-lofted fairway wood. Watch them launch it high and straight, and suddenly that ego disappears.

What about you? Have you made the switch to a 7-wood or 9-wood, or are you keeping the long irons in the bag? Let’s hear your take in the comments below! πŸ‘‡
