To promote Su***de Awareness and Prevention in September, Champions for a Drug-Free Lyon County hosted multiple events for students. Speaker Tom Coverly talked to elementary and middle school students about the importance of kindness, using magic tricks and illusions to demonstrate that appearances can be deceiving. Meanwhile, high school students handed out blank cards for their peers to write inspirational 'you matter' messages to their classmates, and students received a 'You Matter' sticker or stress ball.
