There are bright lights in the future of nursing. Ecorse Community High School’s CTE Nurse Aide Training program has gifted students who will go on to do great works in health care. Great staff over there also !!!

True to our mission statement, N.U.R.S.E.S. is a multicultural training resource center whose students are local and international. We recently graduated 10 students in our 4 week Nurse Aide Training program. Students are from various cities in Mexico, Haiti, Brazil, Congo Africa and Angola Africa. English is not their first language. Can you imagine the educational challenge ? These students work hard ! They pass exams, the successfully perform skills in skills lab and clinicals. I admire their drive & determination. They also take time to laugh often and share their cultural experiences. I’m often the recipient of many cultural foods and desserts. ( I should be 300lbs 😂)
We encourage students to bring their families to their graduation ceremony. This is my first time capturing the event (including families) in a picture. Seeing the picture made me feel like I was doing something positive for healthcare & the community. The politics related to entrepreneurship via healthcare education is enough to make one quit. But, scenes like this graduation inspire to keep going. We walk by faith not by sight !

I still have seats available for next Nurse Aide Training class at my downtown location. Class start 2/26/24 4pm. Call or inbox for information.
We are also weeks away from launching our Patient Care Technician classes. This class includes Phlebotomy and EKG Technician training. We are excited about this training !! Check with your local Michigan Works for tuition coverage or use our payment plan option.
