A huge shout-out to Milwaukee Burger Company- Eau Claire for generously partnering with our Student Council-SAFE group and donating fries for another successful FRY‑Day Friday supporting our CONSENT campaign!
Your support helped create a positive, engaging moment for our students and reminded them that our community believes in showing up for them in meaningful ways.
We are so grateful to have a local business that invests in our small school and supports experiences that build connection and joy for students. Partnerships like this truly make a difference, and we couldn’t do this work without you.
Thank you for supporting our students and for being such an incredible part of our community!

Both McKinley students and 2nd Ave. School students recently met with Minneapolis-based author and illustrator Jason Walz. English and art classes collaborated on units about graphic novels and on drawing characters in a comic style. Students all read his latest graphic novel, "The Flip Side", in preparation and had the opportunity to have their copies autographed by Mr. Walz. Special thanks to the Eau Claire Area School District Diverse Author and Artist Grant and the Chippewa Valley Book Festival Authors in the Schools for their support of this opportunity.
