UWEC HSA 36th Annual Culture Core at UW–Eau Claire was such a great time! So many amazing performances, cultures, and good energy all around.

Our Keynote Speaker is Billy Lor!

Billy Lor is a cultural consultant, content creator and Hmong shaman whose work explores the evolving relationship between Hmong traditions and modern identity. Through his platform Hey Billy, he shares educational content and leads workshops that help communities better understand Hmong culture and belief systems. Billy regularly speaks at universities, healthcare institutions, and community organizations across the country, helping audiences reflect on how Hmong traditions continue to shape identity across generations. His work encourages communities to honor their cultural roots while imagining new possibilities for the future of Hmong identity.

We are excited for you all to join us and hear his inspirational speech of honoring the culture roots of Hmong culture while moving forward in a modernized society.
