❤️🎒 A Village That Shows Up ❤️🎒

Behind every picture from yesterday evening’s POP 6th Annual Back to School Bash is a story of community, generosity, and people coming together to make sure our kiddos are ready to take on another academic school year! 📚✏️

We want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who helped make last night special!

The Children's Museum of Eau Claire — Thank you for allowing us the space to host this event and for the incredible hospitality from your entire staff. We truly appreciate you welcoming POP and our families!

Scheels — Thank you for donating 100+ backpacks and continuing to show up for our kiddos and our community. Your partnership means so much!

The Pablo Foundation — A huge shoutout for your continued financial support of POP. Your investment allows us to continue creating meaningful experiences and opportunities for our youth.

🚨 POP ECASD DISTRICT WIDE CHAPTER — TEST TRIAL SESSIONS! 🚨

Are you a 6th–12th grade student enrolled in the Eau Claire Area School District and interested in becoming a POP mentee for the 2026–27 academic school year?

Now is your opportunity to come experience POP before you apply! 🙌🏾

📅 Tuesday, August 25th OR Wednesday, August 26th
⏰ 6:30–8:00 PM
📍 The Coven — 131 S. Barstow St., Eau Claire, WI
🍽️ Dinner will be provided at BOTH sessions!

During the Test Trial, students AND parents/guardians will:

✨ Experience what it’s like to be part of the POP ECASD District Wide Chapter
✨ Learn more about the overall POP program
✨ Learn how to apply and return your application
✨ Get introduced to our newly updated POP Pathways Program
✨ Learn about activities, experiences & trips planned for the 2026–27 school year
✨ Meet the POP team and get a feel for what the district-wide chapter is all about
✨ Learn more about expectations for both mentees and parents/guardians

📌 IMPORTANT:
• You only need to attend ONE of the two Test Trial sessions.
• A parent/guardian MUST attend with their child/children.
• This opportunity is ONLY for students in 6th–12th grade enrolled in ECASD.
• The application opening/return deadline will be announced at both sessions.
• ONLY 30 SPOTS ARE AVAILABLE!

We want to give a HUGE shoutout to Scheels for donating 100+ backpacks for tonight’s POP 6th Annual Back To School Bash! 🙌🏾

We truly couldn’t ask for a better community partner. Year after year, Scheels has continued to support the Power of Perception (POP) movement and the families we serve, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued commitment to our community.

Because of partners like Scheels, we’re able to make sure our young people head into the new school year feeling prepared, supported, and celebrated! 📚🎒✨

❤️🖤A Beautiful Act of Kindness🖤❤️

Today, while picking up school supplies at OfficeMax in preparation for the POP 6th Annual Back To School Bash tomorrow evening from 5–7 PM, something incredibly special happened.

A woman who didn’t know me personally, and didn’t ask for any recognition, randomly blessed POP with a $500 gift card to help us purchase supplies for our event. 🙏🏾

I honestly can’t put into words how much this means. Donations have been down for this particular event this year, so this generous gesture came at a time when it was truly needed. That $500 will directly help us provide resources and opportunities to families in our community tomorrow.

She didn’t want recognition. She simply saw an opportunity to help and chose to make a difference.

THIS is what community looks like. ❤️

To this beautiful soul: THANK YOU! Your generosity will impact families you may never meet, and your kindness reminds us why we continue to do what we do.
