💛 A Special Request for Our Livestock & 4-H Community 💛
Many of you may remember the Quaglino family from their years with Golden State Pygmy Goat Association, especially the two sweet blonde sisters who always had smiles on their faces and a love for their animals.
It absolutely breaks our hearts to share that sweet Olivia Quaglino was diagnosed with leukemia at the end of May. Instead of spending her summer in the show ring doing what she loves, Olivia has been courageously undergoing treatment.
Even though she wasn’t physically able to show at the fair this year, the fair made a special exception and allowed her steer, entry #66, lot # 576, to sell in the California Mid-State Fair Junior Livestock Auction.
If you or someone you know is participating in the sale and would be willing to add on to Olivia’s project, it would mean the world to this incredible young lady and her family during this difficult journey. Every add-on is a reminder that our agricultural community stands together.
