🚨WATERFOWL FESTIVAL BLACK TIMBER GIVEAWAY🚨

Black Timber will be doing a giveaway at the Easton Waterfowl festival this year between November 13-15.

I’ll be turning a custom goose call at the Black Timber booth. This is a great opportunity to promote the art of call making, and give everyone the chance to watch a block of wood become a fully finished call.

The custom goose call I’ll be turning is apart of the give away. Black Timber will also be giving away a set of gunner dog bowls, and a case off Boss legacy CuProX. This give away package has a value of almost $800

In order to enter the giveaway, take a picture of the Black Timber booth at the Waterfowl Festival, post on your Facebook or Instagram story, and tag us. Come to the booth and show us your shared story, then fill out your name and phone number on a card, and toss it in the gunner 30lb dog food crate on display.

On Sunday 11/15 at noon, we will do the drawing live on Facebook and announce the winner 🎉

Reminding everyone that the Maryland State Contest will be this Saturday at the Cecilton Fire Department Fairgrounds. This contest is a part of the Upper Bay Outdoors Festival.

Registration begins at 10:00 AM and the Junior contests begin at noon, with Senior division to follow. Please come out and support the guys that have worked so hard to put this contest on.

Also, make sure to stop by the Black Timber booth. This will be the first time out for the brand new Timber Rig mobile call shop.

Look forward to seeing everyone.

Ivory Overload inventory has been updated. Had enough leftover ivory from next round of calls being made to scratch out a dozen more. This will be last of ivory overloads for a while.

To say the big push for this season has begun would be an understatement. A lot of progress and development going on for Black Timber.

The Timber Rig will be landing in the next week or so, and I could not be more excited to start setting it up for worlds at Easton, MD this year. I’ll have the ability to modify, polish, tune, and turn calls from start to finish anywhere we go.

The booth setup showed up at the shop last week and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

The Shockwave (flute) is in final stages of pre-production and I can say with certainty that it will be released this fall. My plan is to first offer it at the booth at Worlds in Easton. Anything that doesn’t sell will be hitting the website after the conclusion of the festival. There will only be 60 available this year. As it sits now, it is not a call that I plan on keeping in stock on the website year round.

The rest of the colors and models to be released this fall are as followed.

-Livewire

Woodland camo with black bands

Teal pearl barrel/ivory inserts with matte gunmetal bands

UPS brown with copper bands

-Power Surge

Purple pearl barrel/white pearl inserts with stainless bands

-Overload

Black cherry pearl barrel/Carbon HD pearl inserts with black and matte gunmetal bands

As for development, I have begun R&D on a new call. Taking the overload design and trying to maximize every ounce of power I can get while keeping the goosey tone that Trevor always strived for. It will be a while before it’s released, but I plan on having whatever phase of that call I’m at, with me at Easton if anyone wants to try it out and give me feedback.

Thank you all for your continued support of Black Timber.

-Mike

Had the pleasure of going on another podcast with Joe from Flyway Connections. Got to talk about how I acquired Black Timber, hunting the Atlantic Flyway, and of course my dog Walter from sᴏᴜᴛʜᴇʀɴ ᴏᴀᴋ ᴋᴇɴɴᴇʟs. Go check it out and give them a follow.
