A Night to Remember | CC of Denton Spring Protocol
There are some evenings you know the students will remember for a long time.
Our CC Midshore Challenge students had the opportunity to spend the evening together enjoying dinner at Su***de Bridge Restaurant, traveling together by party bus, and attending the Paul Lewis performance at the Ebenezer Theater.
One of the best parts of the evening was watching the students talk with Mr. Lewis afterward.
They didn’t just hurry out the door. They stayed, introduced themselves, thanked him, told him what parts they loved, asked questions, and just genuinely talked with him. And he was so kind and gracious with them.
It was genuinely special to watch the students engage so comfortably and respectfully — just sincere conversation, shared appreciation for the music, and a memorable interaction between young people and an artist who had given them such a beautiful evening.
We’re very thankful for the kindness and hospitality shown to our community throughout the evening. It was a beautiful reminder that education is not only about books and classrooms, but also about learning how to engage with truth, beauty, excellence, and people.
A special thank you to Bluepoint Hospitality and Mr. Prager for hosting our group at the Ebenezer Theater, and Paul Lewis for welcoming our students so warmly.
