How many years have you been teaching?
I have been teaching for 25 years and have been at EAA for 9 years.

What is the most rewarding part of being a teacher?
The most rewarding part is seeing my students truly understand and connect with what I'm teaching. I also love when former students come back to visit. It is so meaningful to see lasting relationships built and to watch them continue to grow.

What do you love most about teaching at EAA?
I love teaching at this school because it truly feels like a family. The supportive environment and strong relationships with my coworkers make it a positive and welcoming place to work.

Meet Easton Arts Academy Reading Specialist Gail Murphy

How long have you been teaching?
I have been teaching for 30 years. I have been at EAA since August 28, 2017, the first day the school opened.

What is the most rewarding part of being a teacher?
I love watching my students have their "lightbulb" moment where everything just starts to make sense to them.

What do you love most about teaching at EAA?
I am amazed by some of the talent that has come through our doors, and I love watching it be cultivated by our teachers. I fully expect many of our students to be famous someday.
