"East Troy is known as a small town by many, but it represents a whole lot more than that. It is where myself and many others are raising their families or have raised their kids. My husband and I have lived here for almost 8 years and it is where we are raising our three kids. It has become not just the place we live but our home and I am proud to live here.

There is a sense of community and where we look out for one another. The community continues to involve the kids in so many ways from small activities to decorating the square at Christmas time. It seems rare to find towns that has what East Troy has. I love our town and if you ask others they will say the same. We have to step up.

The town has continued to grow since moving here. Businesses and restaurants are continuing to thrive in our small town. We support those so we need to do the same for our schools and the kids.

This district needs our help and support. Two of my children attend Little Prairie. They wake up everyday so excited to go to school and I thank the amazing highly qualified staff for that. The teachers give it their all to make sure the students get a good education.

This isn’t about new buildings or new equipment, it is truly to keep our staff so our children are educated the way they deserve. Class sizes, class choices, and qualified staff are all key components that need to continue to happen and they won’t if we don’t say yes.

Our kids are our future and we should be doing everything we can to help them get the education they deserve."

Thanks to our incredible staff East Troy students are ready for life after high school. Credentialed staff are trained to teach a wide variety of courses and students can earn industry-certifications while still in high school.

Vote YES April 4!

Without the funding from this operational referendum, we'll be facing up to 34 students in a classroom at Prairie View.

That's 34 students in a 31'x26' room with one teacher. Not a 15:1 ratio like some have suggested we have currently.

What's more, additional cuts will greatly reduce instructional aides and support staff; so small group, and certainly 1:1 interventions will be impossible to provide to students with any consistency, if at all.

Electives and special classes like art, music, keyboarding will all require reductions or eliminations if we don't pass the referendum on tomorrow's ballot.

We have the power to prevent this. Share this post. And VOTE YES TOMORROW, APRIL 4.

"The three municipalities are definitely behind the school board and the referendum. We are trying our best to get the word out in the community.

We know we lost it (in 2021) in the two townships the last time the referendum
went around. So we're trying to make phone calls, go door-to-door, whatever it takes we are trying to do. I would also like to reiterate that no matter what happens with
the referendum we need to attack our legislators; they need to change their formula
at the state to help everybody. So once this is done get on the phone, and call your legislators and pound it in their heads. Thank you."
