Can a homemade sourdough be a metaphor for transitions? It started out so beautiful, but it took a dive while I was placing it in the oven. 😬

Regardless, it still came out super tasty! (Caraway seeds for the win!) 😁

This Shabbat is one of transition for me. Tonight is my first Shabbat at MSU Hillel as their musician/song leader for their Friday night services and tomorrow is my last Shabbat morning at the Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue as their shaliach tzibur (prayer leader).

Much like my sourdough, there are some bittersweet vibes this Shabbat, but it’s all good!

P.S. It takes me close to 12 hours to make a sourdough loaf from start to finish!
