2025 Spanish Training for Certification of Michigan Pesticide Applicators
April 10–11, 2025

Michigan State University Extension and the Michigan Food and Farming Systems (MIFFS) invite blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry growers—as well as farm or greenhouse workers—to attend a Spanish-language Private Pesticide Applicator Certification preparation workshop.

Dates: April 10–11, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (both days)
Location: MSU Southwest Michigan Research and Extension Center,
1791 Hillandale Road, Benton Harbor, MI 49022
Cost: $35 per person (includes notes and refreshments)

Growers who need RUP (Restricted Use Pesticides) credits to renew their licenses can earn 8 RUP credits after completing both days of training.

Spend a full day diving into pesticide safety and certification preparation at one of two upcoming Pesticide Applicator Core Review and MDARD Core Testing sessions.

These educational events are designed for individuals preparing for the MDARD Pesticide Applicators Certification Exam and include a mandatory Core Manual review in the morning, followed by in-person testing in the afternoon.
