Just a reminder that our new dojo is up and running in Mason Mi. Awesome training from 6:30-8:pm-ish. Come on and get off the sofa.

We haven't posted in quite some time.
Have an announcement though. We're starting a new dojo in Mason Michigan Training in Hakuho Ryu Aiki Jujutsu. In order to gather students we're offering two free trial classes. The first class is tonight at 6:30, and the next class will be on 12/20 with regular classes starting on January 3rd. If you're in the Lansing, Holt, Mason areas, ping me for more information. Today is the 4th anniversary of Sensei's passing.
In honor of Sensei we held a sword training at the Rockford Dojo.
Only six members could attend and James had to leave before a group photo was taken.

Great training today in honor of Sensei. We had so much fun we forgot to take any pictures or video.
It's been awhile for everyone, so we just worked on basics from Ikkajô, Nikajô, San-kajô, and even a Yon-kajô.

Today is the third anniversary of Okabayashi Sensei's passing. Mitsuko and I trained this morning in his remembrance.
Next week (2/27) we will hold a private training in my private dojo in his honor with invited guests only.

Escaping from having your sword thrown down, from the Itto-ryu kata “Waki gamae no tsuke.” Demonstrated by our Pennsylvania students, Randy Manning Sensei (Sh*tachi) and Alan Starner (Uchitachi).

Our focus was on the kotachi for Friday evening and Saturday morning.
