This is shaping up to be an exciting breeding season so far! Here's a peek of what's in our incubators:

We've recently started working with a partner to keep our "dirty" adult population of breeders brought in from other collections in a completely separate facility from where eggs are incubated and babies are raised. This biosecurity measure ensures we keep any communicable diseases that are hard to detect contained and we can work towards a "clean" breeding population of holdbacks... within the next decade, hopefully. 😂

I've been toying around with writing an article on our biosecurity practices to prevent nidovirus and cryptosporidium; would you like to see something like that?

Long time, no see, I realize, but life is unrelenting.
