Shoe Club Nation

We are excited to welcome our newest communities to the Shoe Club Nation team! These incredible educators have stepped up to bring the Shoe Club experience to their middle school students, and we couldn't be more excited about what's ahead. The teachers leading these chapters are amazing people who care about their students and believe in their potential. They understand that every student has value, every student has a story, and every student deserves to know that they matter. We know the impact will reach far beyond the classroom. We're excited to see the friendships built, the lives changed, and the future leaders who will emerge from these communities. To our newest chapter leaders and communities: Thank you for believing in the mission and investing in your students. We're honored to have you walking alongside us! Welcome to Shoe Club Nation!

In 2023, the superstar donated a pair of signed red high heels to the East Jordan Shoe Club.

Dolly Parton donated a pair of red high heels to the Shoe Club that she wore while recording her rock and roll album. Those shoes represent so much of what the Shoe Club is all about - valuing yourself, valuing others, and using your life to make a positive difference.

One part of this donation story that isn't widely known is just how special it was. Dolly doesn't typically donate items from her personal collection. She has a 40,000-square-foot warehouse filled with clothing and memorabilia dating all the way back to the 1970s. When we first made our request, I was told no a few times by people close to her. But when Dolly personally heard about the Shoe Club and our request, she wanted to donate something that was meaningful to her - something well-worn and special. That gesture says so much about the incredible woman she was. We will always be grateful for her support, her generosity, and the inspiration she has given our students.

Thank you, Dolly, for believing in our kids and for being such a beautiful example of what it means to Walk in Your Value.
