Today we would like to recognize and celebrate the incredible dedication, compassion, and hard work of Mrs. Miriam Ortiz

Mrs. Ortiz has made a lasting impact on the students of the Cardinal Work Center by helping them develop important life, work, and independent living skills. Her commitment goes far beyond teaching —she takes the time to encourage, support, and truly believe in every student she works with.

What makes Mrs. Ortiz so special is that she doesn’t focus on disabilities; she see abilities, strengths, and potential. She empowers students to believe in themselves, build confidence, and reach goals they may have never thought possible. Her patience, kindness, and unwavering support create a positive environment where students feels valued, respected, and capable of success.

Mrs. Ortiz consistently goes above and beyond, not only helping students learn new skills but also being a trusted mentor, advocate, and source of encouragement. Her dedication touches the lives of students, families, and staff alike.
