Happy World Teachers’ Day to the amazing teachers who make Little Discoveries feel like a second home. 🍎❤️

Thank you for your patience, care, creativity, and for showing up every day for our little learners. The work you do matters more than you know.

Today, we celebrate YOU! ✨

Before assuming a child isn’t listening, ask yourself: Do they understand what I’m asking them to do?

Young children are still learning how to process instructions, routines, and expectations. At home, during homeschool, or in a childcare classroom, giving clear and consistent directions can help them feel more secure and successful.

Sometimes changing HOW we communicate can completely change how a child responds. 💛

Save and share this with another parent or educator who might need the reminder.

Salad, anyone? 🥗

Our little learners made their own colorful salads while practicing their scissor skills! Activities like this are a fun way to work on fine motor skills, coordination, and creativity without it feeling like a lesson.

Sometimes building independence starts with something as small as, “Let me try.” 💛

Our teachers create opportunities for children to make choices, complete age-appropriate tasks, problem-solve, and practice doing things for themselves, with support nearby when they need it.

These everyday classroom moments help little learners build confidence and skills they can carry with them as they grow.

Fresh air, room to move, and plenty of opportunities to explore. ☀️

At Little Discoveries, outdoor time gives our little learners a chance to run, play, build confidence, connect with friends, and experience learning beyond the classroom.

Because when you’re choosing a childcare center, the outdoor environment matters too. 💛
