Dear friends, many of you are aware of my genetic condition called ankylosing Spondylitis from the rheumatoid arthritis family. In 2014, I had major spine surgery where a plethora of titanium screws were implanted through a procedure called Osteotomy, literally, cutting the bone. Main purpose was to bring me back up to full height.
Jump forward to 2024 and we find the nodules between my shoulder blades have grown in size, pressing in on my esophagus and vocal cords, this too now requiring a second surgery. It is scheduled for Aug 26 in Los Angeles under the same surgeon as my original surgery, doctor Brian Perri.
The main difference now is he is out of network so my costs for his services will cost me $9k, payment in advance. All other costs will be covered by insurance.
Over the years, I have seen fit to help many of you financially regardless of my own circumstances. I considered not saying anything but then that means I’m making the decision for you as to trying to assist me or not.
Only God can move your hearts in my hour of need. Regardless of your decision, your prayers and thoughts would be appreciated.
