Fernando Perez, Flute Fernando Perez is a flutist based in Boise, ID. Fernando teaches flute/piccolo lessons.

Fernando Perez was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America. All years throughout high school, he won the Idaho State Solo Competition and sat principal chair in the All-State Band. He has performed as a soloist with the Idaho Falls Symphony, Meridian Symphony, and the Boise Phil Youth Orchestra. Fernando won the grand prize of $20,000 from the Donald Runnicles Musical Arts Scholarship Competition and was a finalist of the National Flute Asociation's High School Soloist Competition. Fernando has served principal flute in the Boise State Symhonic Winds and has been featured in The Very Most's CD, "Needs Help" album. He has worked with well-known international flutists such as Jennifer Gunn (Chicago Symphony), Demarre Mcgill (Seattle Symphony), Jeffrey Barker (Seattle Symphony), and Jill Felber (UCSB). Fernando is recognized in the Dean's list for studying Accountancy and Flute Performance under Dr. Nicole Molumby at Boise State University.
