Meet Señora Abby Jackson, Middle School Spanish Teacher.

“My favorite memory is when I took my students to a Spanish restaurant in Boston and they got to practice their ordering skills! It was a great end of unit celebration with a great, engaged group of students.”

Mrs. Jackson grew up in Duxbury and attended Duxbury Public Schools. She loves to work everyday with the teachers who inspired her to become a teacher!

Mrs. Jackson, we are lucky to have you on our team!

Meet Mrs. Tara Finn, Special Education Teacher at DHS!

What does Mrs. Finn love about teaching? “Hands down, it’s working with the kids and building those relationships. I love seeing them outside the classroom and what brings them joy! I also work with an awesome group of special education teachers- we support each other every day. I am very lucky to work with such an amazing group of people.”

We are asking everyone to wear their pink shirts to school tomorrow, December 10th, in support of a budget that fully funds our schools. We are also hoping to see as many folks as possible at the School Committee meeting that evening!
