Please join me in congratulating NCCU Alum JoCora Moore. JoCora Moore received her B.A. and M.A. History from the Department of History at North Carolina Central University. She was one of only 4 students recently accepted into the Public History PhD Program at North Carolina State University. She has fully funded 5 year scholarship. In addition, JoCora is the 4th African American woman to be accepted into the program. Her research will focus on small communities, HBCUs, and the Civil Rights Movement in the United States. Congratulations JoCora!!!! We are so proud of you.
