🌱Seed Sunday🌱
It’s officially seed saving season!
But Beware! Not all seeds are created the same.
If you planted seeds from a packet labeled “F1” or “hybrid”, the seeds collected from those plants will not produce a plant the same as the parent plant.
“Heirloom” seeds will produce the same plant as long as they were properly pollinated and isolated from other pollinators.
Pictured is a marigold plant, after the flower was pollinated, and seed collection.

Discovered a mature, Rough Green Snake (Opheodrys aestivis) lives inside the wall of my house. He or she also hangs out in the nearby trees and hunts for insects in the leaves alongside the house. Non-venomous in North Carolina
