National Girls and Women in Sports Day was a huge success! Special thanks to for sponsoring the event and Texas Roadhouse for sponsoring lunch. Our panelist provided a wealth of knowledge and valuable insight.

Last Friday, our student-athletes participated in the campus SOAR to the Polls event. They exercised their right to vote with many being first time voters.

September was a busy month for our student athletes! They had the opportunity to participate in numerous events including our first program for the NIL Academy on Personal Branding, Civic Engagement Education and Kick it with Nike. Thank you to Duke Energy for allowing our student-athletes to continue to support their Day of Champions event which provides backpacks and school supplies for middle school students in the Durham community. This is our 7th year participating and always makes for a great start to our academic year!
