We were honored to be recognized by The New Hampshire in our efforts to raise awareness of sexual assault in our community and on UNH campus. Thanks to everybody who supported our efforts. It was a pleasure to help SHARPP have 25% of UNH men pledge to end sexual violence against women on campus.

White Rose Campaign spreads sexual assault awareness The brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha (Lambda Chi) are partnering with Sexual Harassment and R**e Prevention Program (SHARPP) to raise awareness for sexual assault on campus at UNH from April 11 – 13. April is sexual assault awareness month. 1 in 4 women and 1 in 10 men on UNH campus will experience an unwanted sexual experience while in college.

We are partnering with SHARPP to raise awareness and put an end to sexual assault on campus. Starting tomorrow, we are kicking off our White Rose Campaign for the next few days to raise awareness of this important issue. The White Rose is our fraternity flower, and is a symbol of innocence. The White Rose campaign is to show that a guy should be able to give a girl a rose without having to expect anything in return.

We will be in Union Court for the next couple days from 12-2, raising money for SHARPP by collecting donations and handing out white roses. We will also be handing out brownies to anybody who signs the pledge to end sexual assault on campus. We will have a table at the SHARPP anti-violence rally Thursday, April 13th, starting at noon on the great lawn.

SHARPPs goal is to have 25% of UNH campus pledge to end sexual assault on campus. Help us show support for the UNH community and swing by our table. Show what you represent and get white rose consent.

We started off as Beta Phi in 1906 at the New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts. With the help of our international fraternity, we installed ourselves as the Alpha-Xi Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha on March 29th,1918. Today marks the 99th year that our chapter has been at UNH. We have since initiated 1,771 men as brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha. Thank you to the University of New Hampshire, the community members of Durham, and most importantly, to all of our brothers, both alumni and active, for getting us to where we are today at 35 Madbury rd. We look forward to our continued growth and further contributing our community!

This past week brothers from all over the country participated in Lambda Chi Alphas international volunteer week. We volunteered and helped out at our local food pantry, Cornucopia food pantry, also known as Waysmeet.

One of our associate members Jake Dawson attended an event that contained some of the best beards around. He made the list of having one of the top 20 beards in all of Vermont! Everyone at the event raised almost $30,000 dollars for Make-A-Wish Vermont, enough to grant two wishes. He even got to meet the original Most Interesting Man in the World!
