We are very excited to start Sendolo Diaminah's residency this fall!

In addition to adding a wonderful presence to campus, Sendolo will be running a 3-part organizing workshop on the following weekends:

Sept 10th-11th
Oct 1st -2nd
Nov 12th-13th

This is a free workshop open to the Duke and Durham area community, but space will be limited. Attendance at all three events is required, and registration will be necessary before or at the first event in order to attend the others.

Hi all, Thanks for coming to our October 21st event and asking such thoughtful questions! We uploaded some pictures and the resource guide from Melissa Norton's talk on Gentrification and the New Geography of Race, Class, and Privilege in the City. Our next event will be Friday, Nov. 20th at 6:30 in the Duke Coffeehouse. Local activists Saralee Stafford and Neal Shirley will be discussing their recent book, "Dixie Be Damned! 300 Years of Insurrection in the American South."
