Our office will be hosting a Duke Chapel Tower Climb tomorrow, Tuesday, 26 April from 1030-1230. While attending, you will be afforded the opportunity to climb to the top of the Duke Chapel tower. There will be food and refreshments provided as you wait your turn to climb the tower.

Student veterans are welcome to bring a guest, but they must be twelve years of age or older. All participants must wear close-toed shoes and will be required to fill out a waiver on-site. The last tower climb will begin at 1215.

If you are graduating in May, you can also pick up your student veteran graduation cord on Tuesday. If you cannot attend and would like to request a graduation cord from the Office of Student Veterans, email [email protected] with the address you would like your cord mailed to.

Duke Student Veterans: Come join the Duke University Student Veteran community for the upcoming Final Four Watch Party at Cameron Indoor Stadium against the North Carolina Tar Heels! Although we are not able to reserve space inside of Cameron Indoor Stadium, we are providing a location for veterans and military-affiliated students to organically come together and watch the game in sections 9 and 10. Pro-tip: Come early as Duke Athletics is planning for 5,000 student attendees!

The Duke University Office of Student Veterans wants to acknowledge and recognize the service and sacrifices made by our men and women in uniform and their families. The 9/11 attacks will never be forgotten nor the ultimate price paid by our first responders and those in our armed forces who were deployed as part of the Global War on Terrorism. Although 9/11 left millions of Americans terrified and confused, the resiliency of our spirit serves as evidence of our nation’s resolve. We remember.
