Hey! Have you ever had the very specific dream of owning a small dragon with the sole purpose of holding your phone for you? What if I told you that very specific dream could be yours *now*, for *free*? The Co-Lab has the equipment to make it happen, and 3D printing is one of the most accessible and easy ways to get involved at the ‘Lab! Check out our newsletter from FWOC for a quick tutorial here: https://t.e2ma.net/message/0x0elj/kh955uh
To learn more about what we do at the Co-Lab and get to know our space, come to our opening event this week and check out our Roots technical courses this semester (free classes in tech topics)!
One of the best ways to follow the Co-Lab’s events and courses (and receive a weekly pun courtesy of yours truly) is to follow our newsletter! I could be the best part of your Monday.

The Duke Monowheel Team's EV360 has been a Co-Lab fixture for over a year as the team built and refined their design for this electric monowheel. While it has been fun to hear tour groups gawking and guessing what it is (hamster wheel? flying car?), it's even more fun to see it in action.

Duke's COVID Engineering Response Team is working on projects to address Duke Health’s identified clinical equipment needs. With two projects already delivered, the team is leveraging existing programs and collaborations to take products through the full engineering design process from identifying a need to testing prototypes to documenting final plans for others to take advantage of in a matter of weeks.
And the team, which includes students as well as faculty and staff, is far from done—they have even more projects in the pipeline and are actively identifying new ways to help Duke Health. To learn more, check out their new hub on our Pratt website, which tracks the progress of their current projects, includes contact information for submitting a clinical need or volunteering resources, and provides links to plans and documentation for their devices so that others might benefit from Duke's ingenuity. https://pratt.duke.edu/covid19/response-team
