A winter weather advisory has been issued for our local area. GCA will be closed on Monday, December 8. Please remember that our school follows Durham Public Schools for all closings, delays, and early dismissals. All athletic events are also canceled for Monday.

The GCA FAN Club is hosting their first dine-out fundraiser event for the school year. Invite your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to join us at Freddy's on Thursday, September 25 from 4-8 pm. Our school will receive 20% of fundraiser sales during this event. Participate by ordering digitally or at the physical Freddy's restaurant at 3812 N. Roxboro Street in Durham. To participate digitally, order on the Freddy's mobile app or website using the code GIVEBACK. To participate at the restaurant, tell the cashier of your participation (before payment) or show the fundraiser flyer to the cashier (before payment).

There’s still time for families to apply for an Opportunity Scholarship for the 2025-26 school year! This scholarship helps make private school more affordable by covering a portion – or all – of a student’s tuition. Every single K12 student is eligible. Students who have registered and raised $30 will get to participate in the Fun/Color Run and will receive a special event day T-shirt.
